The question we hear most after price: will the bin hurt my driveway? Handled right, no. A few minutes of prep protects your concrete or asphalt for the whole rental, and we help with all of it on delivery.
Boards under the rails
The bin rests on two steel rails. A pair of 2x10 boards under each rail spreads the weight across a much larger footprint, the same way a snowshoe keeps you on top of the snow. Tell us you want boards when you book and the driver will set the bin down on them.
Pick the spot before the truck arrives
- Flat and level beats sloped every time
- Keep 60 feet of straight clearance for the truck to back in
- Stay clear of septic tanks, leach fields, and shallow utilities
- Leave the door swing room: the rear door needs space to open fully
Mind the heat and the rain
Fresh asphalt softens on hot July afternoons in East Tennessee, and saturated ground after a storm can let a loaded bin settle. If your driveway is new asphalt or the forecast is ugly, mention it when booking and we will plan placement together.
